During December 1 to 5, to the invitation of the College of Education of Zhejiang University, Professor Bernadette Baker from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of The University of Wisconsin in Madison attended a series of academic and cultural activities, involving the study of the history of curriculum and comparative curriculum, and held profound cultural conversations with the teachers and students from colleges of education, foreign language and humanity in Zhejiang University.
The series of lectures were so overwhelming that the audience couldn’t wait to talk to Professor Baker about the relationship between the history of curriculum and comparative curriculum, how to understand the affect of cultural difference on the academic research and exchange, and the current situation of the curriculum study in America.
This visit deepened mutual understanding and laid the foundation for further cooperation.
