During October 20 to 27, at the joint invitation of U.S. Administrative Law and Government Regulation of Business Branch, Law School of the University of Pennsylvania, Cardozo Law School and Law School of American University, Vice Professor Zheng Chunyan of Guanghua Law School carried out an academic visit and exchange in Washington and Philadelphia, and made reports, the theme of which were The Practices of Major Decision-making in China and Evaluating Negotiated Administrative Action in China.
It was the first time for U.S. Administrative Law and Government Regulation of Business Branch to establish Chinese administrative law sub-forum, which attracted a lot of interest of American counterparts, including the current chairman of the U.S. Administrative Law and Government Regulation of Business Branch and three former chairmen.
The Law School of the University of Pennsylvania also held an international symposium about the future of Chinese Administrative Law, which invited Professor Peter Strauss from Columbia University, Professor Stanley Lubman from the University of California, Berkeley and other scholars.
The delegation also paid a visit to ACUS, DC Eyre, EPA, and US Chamber of Commerce, and carried out a profound discussion with four senior judges.
