On the morning of May 13, International Conference on Marine Economy and Marine Power Construction, elaborately prepared and host by Zhejiang University was held in Jinxi Village near the West Lake. Professor Shi Jinchuan, the director of the Faculty of Social Science and dean of the College of Economics of Zhejiang University delivered a warm speech to express gratitude to the experts, scholars and leaders at home and abroad meeting in Hangzhou and contributing ideas to marine economy and marine power construction on behalf of Zhejiang University.
Professor Torbjorn Trondsen from Thrun University of Norway, representing the foreign guests, gave a speech of thanking the opportunity to exchange and learn offered by the conference and hoping future cooperation on the teaching, research and social service on marine economics.
Professor Yu Xunda, the dean of the Academy of Social Science host the opening ceremony and the conference and the keynote speech.
The conference provided an efficient platform to enhance the cooperation and exchange on marine economics.
