The delegation of the Department of Physical Education in College of Education, led by Professor Lin Xiaomei, visited Ireland and the UK during April 27 to May 4, and signed cooperative agreements with School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Population Science of University College of Dublin, and reached collaborative intentions with University of Bath and University of Worcester on the exchange student, teachers’ visits and collaborative research.
Short was the visit, the delegation achieved quite a lot. Universities of Ireland and the UK attached importance to physical education and research, and possessed first-class facilities and advanced laboratory equipment, resulting in the high-level training and close relationship between social health and leisure service, which was inspiring to the delegation on how to train high-level athletes and how to do research more practically.
