The dean of Toulouse School of Economics Visited College of Economics

 

On May 21, Professor Jean-Philippe Lesne, the dean of Toulouse School of Economics, France, visited the College of Economics, welcomed by Professor Yang Yongliu, the dean assistant and director of the Department of Finance, Professor Pan Shiyuan, the dean assistant, associate Professor Ye Jianliang, the associate director of the Department of Economics, and other professors by a forum, discussing students exchanges , scholars visiting and postgraduates recommendation.
    In the afternoon, Professor Jean-Philippe Lesne addressed a lecture hosted by associate dean Professor Huang Xianhai. After a brief introduction, Professor Jean-Philippe Lesne presented the prime information about TSE by an episode of video, including history, international ranking, teaching resource, scale of students and important institution. Enrolling around 200 postgraduates every year, the school selects 20 postgraduates at their second year to continue as doctors.
    Then the dean introduced the collaborative model he designed, including students exchanges, scholars visiting and postgraduates recommendation. In the end, he finished the lecture with two episodes of interviewing video with overseas Chinese students in TSE.
