At the invitation of College of Economics of Zhejiang University, internationally famous economist and Academician of the Royal Academy of Science in Britain Professor Richard Portes and Professor HéLène Rey from London School of Economics, Professor Alexandre Swoboda from Higher International Financial Institute in Geneva and Dr. Huang Yi visited Zhejiang University on June 2.
After extending warm welcome to the guests, the associate dean Professor Gu Guoda introduced the general situation of the international development of Zhejiang University and College of Economics, in the meantime expected this visit would be an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and promote much more profound international cooperation.
Then the guests addressed excellent reports about international capital movement, intriguing most of the attendance.
After the meeting, by introducing the master’s and doctoral programs and scholarship of their respective schools, the guests looked forward to the application from Zhejiang University.
