1. Background and Conference Objectives
China and Korea established diplomatic relationships in 1992, since then China and Korea has got rapid developments of cooperations on economy, trade, culture and education in the past 20 years. Despite the tremendous achievements of economic and trade coopertions between the two countries in the past 20 years, China and Korea is also facing some new challenges on economic and trade cooperations. The economic trade cooperations between China and Korea, it would be of good demonstration effects for promoting regional integration of North-east Asia, promoting regional cooperation, development, and stability. This Conference aims to summarize the achievements, experiences and lessons on the cooperation between China and Korea over the past 20 years, and further more,to discuss the current and future opportunities and prospects of cooperations between the two countries.
The Conference will be jointly chaired by Professor Shi Jinchuan, Director of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Zhejiang University and, Professor Park Sang-Soo, President of Korean-Chinese Social Science Associations, scholars from Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Chinese Taiwan and other countries will be invited to attend the conference, and discussing the forefronts and hot issues of China-Korea economic and trade cooperations.

(2) Opportunities and challenges of China-Korea economic and trade cooperation
(3) The existing issues of mechanical and electrical products/equipments cooperations between China and Korea
(4) Situation and Prospect of China-Korea cooperation of auto industry
(5) Comparison of cultural industry development between China and Korea
(6) China-Korea Marine resources development, protection and cooperation
(7) Comparison of South Korea's agriculture, rural construction and management with China's new countryside construction
(8) Opportunities of emerging strategic industries cooperation between China and Korea
(9) China-Korea education cooperation
(10) Technology transfer and intellectual property protection in China-Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation
