Chairman of Britain Trade Association Sir David Brewer Visited School of Management, Zhejiang University

 

On September 12, another sir visited School of Management, Zhejiang University after sir Mike Gregory. Chairman of Britain Trade Association, sir David Brewer visited Zhejiang University and held a lecture theme at “How China Benefits From British Expertise” for students from EMBA, School of Management. Professor Xiaobo Wu, the dean of School of Management, Zhejiang University and professor Lin Chen, the vice dean, extended warm welcome to the guests.

   At the first time, sir David Brewer introduced the history of the China-Britain Business Council and its origin with China bilateral trade. In his opinion, the bilateral trade and the invest expanded rapidly as the day is long, which has a huge role in promoting the furthercooperation between the two countries. “The manufacturing, aerospace industry, creativity, fashion and other industries are relatively leaders. They all supported by the financial, fiscal and education systems of Britain.” Sir David Brewer said these words when he analyzed the advantages of Britain Business.
   “Similarly, British has a first-hand experience for Chinese to recommend in problems about population aging and urbanization.” Sir David Brewer believed that there are many aspects for Chinese and British to learn from each other. “Britain and China are both think highly of the importance of talents training and maintenance for the reason that these people are the vitality and the future of a nation.” Subsequently, sir David Brewer proved the necessity and importance of trade between China and Britain by listing a series of successstories.
Finally, in the Q&A session, students from EMBA have put a series questions to sir David Brewer to seek opportunities in the trade with Britain.
