A Delegation From University of Ca Canberra And Canberra Grammar School Re-visited College of Education

 

On October 10, a delegation consists of 16 scholars and experts in education as well as other disciplines from University of Ca Canberra and Canberra Grammar School visited College of Education and returned the visit of our delegation.
Professor Xiaozhou Xu, the dean of College of Economics, extended warm welcome to the guests. Vice professor Jishan Song, assistant dean of foreign affairs, introduced the general situation, disciplinary settings, teaching and research features, talents training and international cooperation and communication, etc. He highlights a series of cooperation held between College of Economics and famous universities or United Nations Research and Education organization. Both sides communicated with each other about some interesting topics such as school specialty setting, courses, education and management, etc. Professor Geoff Riordan, the dean of College of Economics, University of Ca Canberra, expressed that internationalization of higher education and cooperative education is the future trend of development. He also said that University of Ca Canberra seeking partners for future development, willing to create a consortium of universities to strengthen academic exchanges and scientific cooperation.
The talk was end in a friendly atmosphere when both sides exchanged gifts. They all look forward to opportunities for cooperation in the context of international communication.
