On October 31, the highly anticipated 2013 WEF was held in Singapore. Theme at “entrepreneurs: manage environmental change and promote sustainable development”, the forum gave a platform to entrepreneurs from around the world to share new thinking in entrepreneurship and communicate deeply. One of the WEF sponsoring organizations, the delegation from School of Management of Zhejiang University participated this forum.

LEE Yi Shyan, the senior minister of Department of trade and industry and Department of national development in Singapore, attended the opening ceremony of WEF. He showed warm welcome and thanks to entrepreneurs from all over the world before fully affirmed the importance of the WEF. In his opinion, innovation in entrepreneurship is the driving force of future. As one of the chairman of WEF, professor Xiaobo Wu, the dean of School of Management of Zhejiang University, said in his speech that entrepreneurs around the world should work coordinately to transfer healthy entrepreneurship worldwide.
During the outstanding entrepreneurs sharing session, recommended by the organization of the School of Management of Zhejiang University, Mr. Hao Xin, secretary of Green Zhejiang, gave a speech as an outstanding young represent. He introduced the growth story of Green Zhejiang and China youth’s responsibility and mission to the colleagues from all over the world.
Then, Mr. Hao Xin participated the discussion session with Ms. Nanxi Liu, president of Enplug company in the US and Mr. Daniel Gomezz, the president of Solben New Energy Company. After the discussion session, entrepreneurs agreed that entrepreneurship need dreams and need to listen to your heart as well as intuition, and the most important, hardworking.
That night, WEF held a grand award ceremony. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the vice chairman of Singapore as well as finance minister stressed the importance of entrepreneurship education in his speech. He fully affirmed that innovation drives the development of countries.
