On November 4, 2013, chancellor of Singapore Management University Arnoud De Meyer and other members visited Zhejiang University. Managing vice president of Zhejiang University Yonghua Song, dean of School of Management Xiaobo Wu, vice dean Ling Chen and other teachers expanded warm welcome to the guests, which included vice chancellor Annie Koh, dean of Faculty of Social Sciences James Tang, director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute Arcot Desai Narasimhalu and Chinese responsible person Andrew Chin.
At the first time both sides introduced general situation of their own university, and discussed in family enterprises cooperation in details.
Then in the common witness of chancellor of Singapore Management University Arnoud De Meyer and president of our school Yonghua Song, vice president Annie Koh and dean Ling Chen signed the memorandum of cooperation between Business Family Institute of Singapore Management University and Institute of Family Business of Zhejiang University. The memorandum of cooperation affirmed the cooperation intention between the two universities in cooperation research, the communication for teachers and students, training and other aspects officially.
Finally, chancellor Arnoud De Meyer and his colleagues visited the Innovation Management And Sustainable Competitiveness Research Center. Dean Xiaobo Wu introduced the situation and development of innovation base to the guests. Besides, Arnoud De Meyer expressed strong interest in the research center.
