Zhejiang University Held International Seminar on China-Korea Economic Trade Successfully

 

During December 14-15, 2013, ZJU, KCSSS and NAEAK held International Seminar on China-Korea Economic Trade successfully. This meeting focused on cooperation and challenges faced by East Asia and communication between China and South Korea on industry, cluture, education, government and the community. It was held on room 225, Mengmingwei Building of Zhejiang Unviersity. Professor Jinchuan Shi and other professors made a warm and friendly ceremonial speech. They all spoken highly of the relationship between China and South Korea and hoped that this meeting will strengthen the cooperation of bilateral scholars in Northeast Asia economic and social development, education, culture and health services, and many other field. This meeting was held by professor Zhikai Wang from College of Economics of Zhejiang University and professor Seo Chang Bae from Pukyong National University.
   A comprehensive conference theme at “China and the international community” was held after the opening ceremony. Professors from several countries gave speeches on all kinds of topics. The meeting received more than 50 papers, a total of 53 people published a paper report, 150 people who published the report made comments and interact. A warm atmosphere and positive response can be seen in the meeting.
   In the varies situation and uncertainties in East Asia, communication and cooperation between China and South Korea can strengthen the stability and prosperity of East Asia, as well as support the recovery and growth of the world economy. The seminar summarized ROK cooperative experience, analysis of the problems in East Asia and gave future-oriented development of useful discussions and suggestions in China and South Korea economy, trade, politics, education, culture and other increasingly interconnected background.And strengthened cooperation between South Korean universities, research institutes with Zhejiang University, conducted a constructive planning. We can say that this seminar providing a good platform to strengthen better understanding and mutual trust between China and South Korea, for universities and research institutions from civil society to explore a higher level of cooperation and win-win China and South Korea in the East Asian and global scope.
