On the morning of June, 20th, 2014, Professor Aaronout Brombacher, the vice chairman of the Eindhoven University of Technology (Dutch: Technische Hogeschool Eindhoven, abbr. THE)of the Netherlands, together with Doctor Karen Ali, the director of the foreign affairs apartments of this university, paid a visit to the School of Management (SOM), Zhejiang University.

　　Ms. Li Xianhong, director of SOM’s Academic Affairs Office, Ms. Zhu Jiping, director of Zhejiang University’s office of foreign exchange and cooperation, and Ms. Tong Nian gave a warm welcome to the visitors. Chair Professor Frans Greidanus accompanied this visit.

　　This visit was mainly aimed at the agreement between the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences of THE and the School of Management of Zhejiang University. The agreement covers aspects including student exchange, teacher exchange, cooperation in scientific research, the joint training of doctoral students and so on.

　　Founded in 1956, THE is one of the top 3 technology universities in the Netherlands. And the visit of the vice chairman of THE is expected to lay a foundation for further cooperations.
