On the afternoon of November, 20th, 2015, Professor Bruno van Pottelsberghe, dean of the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université Libre de Bruxelles paid a visit to School of Management (SOM), Zhejiang University. Professor Wu Xiaobo, dean of SOM, and vice dean, Professor Zhou Weihua, as well as other two staff members gave a warm welcome to the visitors.
Professor Bruno van Pottelsberghe has in 2012 initiated the Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management (QTEM) postgraduate network, which has at present turned into a strategic coalition of 12 top business schools to offer joint education for postgraduate students.
In the discussion session, both parties exchanged opinions about the possibility of further cooperation except the QTEM project, including exchange programs of undergraduate and postgraduate students, advanced postgraduate courses, academic visits of EMBA, research cooperation and so on.
