On the morning of December 29th, 2015, Professor Ni Jinlan of University of Nebraska, who also chairs the Board of Directors of the Chinese Economists Society, paid a visit to the School of Economics (SOE), Zhejiang University, and gave a lecture titled Housing Boom and Bust, Real Estate Ownership, and R&D Investment.

    Professor Yang Liuyong, vice dean of SOM as well as the school's other staff members gave a warm welcome to the visiting guest.

    The lecture was hosted by Professor Yang, who gave a brief introduction of Professor Ni's research background. Then Professor Ni gave an in-depth analysis of the significance that technology innovation in corporations exerts on future economic growth.

    After the lecture, both the teaching staff and students of SOE proposed some questions to Professor Ni and took active participation in the discussion.
