Professors from University of Groningen and University of Maryland Visited School of Management

 

On March 4, the dean of Economics and Business School of the University of Groningen in Netherlands Professor Harry Garretsen, the vice dean Professor Janka Stoker, the director of the Department of Marketing Professor Peter Verhoef, and the assistant dean of Robert H. Smith Business School of the University of Maryland visited the School of Management. The vice dean Professor Wei Longbao, Chen Lin and Zhang Gang received the guests and held a conversation.
    The visiting group expected to establish an EMBA program with the School of Management, which focused on the industry of energy, centralized admissions in Europe, and established curriculums of different modules in Netherlands, the United States and China. According to the precedented cooperative model with Hautes Etudes Commerciales Paris, Professor Wei Longbao proposed three levels of cooperation, covering the curriculums, the professors and the enrollment. Three sides indicted their own advantages in this area that could share.
