Professors from the College of Education of Indiana University Visited Zhejiang University

 

On February 23 to 26, a group of 3, including Professor Heidi Ross, the director of the East Asian Research Centre of the College of Education of Indian University and assistant professor Adam Maltese visited the College of Education of Zhejiang University. The dean Professor Xu Xiaozhou, the director of the Department of Education Professor Wu Xueping and the dean assistant Associate Professor Kan Yue attended the meeting.
    The group intended to discuss the three cooperative international research projects. On February 24, the meeting began with Project STEM, that is the general term for the four areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, which is a cross-cultural survey research project, and the first transnational comparative study on the interest and experience the teachers and students have in STEM. In addition, two groups also discussed the cooperation on the network curriculum development and training program for principals of primary and secondary schools.
    As friend colleges, the college of education of Zhejiang University and Indiana University have further the cooperation in exchange visits, doctoral joint training, syllabus amended, English curriculum development and other fields since the comprehensive cooperation agreement signed in November 2012, helping promote the international level of the college of education of Zhejiang University.
