On December 17 to 18, a five-member delegation of HKICPA QP Certification Program conducted a field visit to the undergraduate department of accounting and financial managements, and MPAcc program of the School of Management. The dean Professor Wu Xiaobo, the vice dean Professor Chen Lin and Professor Zhang Gang, the executive director of the department of accounting and financial management Professor Yao Zheng, and the vice director Professor Han Hongling extended warm welcome to the review panel. To greet the first QP Certification field work, the QP Certification group had made full preparation with the help of functional department of the school and submitted a comprehensive and detailed certification material.
The meeting was host by Professor Chen Jun. Starting with the introduction of the history and current development of Zhejiang University, and the educational notion of the School of Management by Professor Chen Lin, Professor Yao Zheng introduced the general situation and development of the department of Accounting, then emphasized the project faculty, students admissions, training methods, students activities and career prospects. The detail data and high-quality training performance impressed the review panel.
After two-day visit, the review panel gave a high evaluation and unanimously approval to the department of accounting and financial management, and MPAcc program, and promised to report to the Accreditation Committee of the Association for approval as soon as possible.
