During November 6 to 15, an art delegation including professors from College of Public Administration, Guanghua Law School, College of education, School of Management, School of Humanities and Cultural Heritage Research Institute, and administrative staff from Academy of Social Sciences and archives, led by vice principal Professor Luo Weidong, participated in a series of events of Zhejiang University Week in Berlin, Germany, and also were invited to visit Sciences Po.and Sapienza.
During the visit, Professor Luo Weidong signed an agreement respectively with the president of Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation and the curator of National Library of Germany on the share of ancient and rare books and the recognition of book protection and digitization, and Zhejiang University-Berlin National Library Bilateral Cooperation Framework.
This visit was an important step of the implementation of “Zhejiang University strategy on prosperity and development of philosophy social science”, aiming at speeding up the pace of international exchange on the liberal arts scientific research, promoting the academic relationship with internationally famous universities and institutions, and pushing forward excellent scholars and research to the world.
