On November 26 and 27, Professor Ira Weiss, the dean of Poole Business School of North Caroline State University visited the School of Management. The Dean of school of management Professor Wu Xiaobo, the vice dean Professor Wei Baolong and Zhang Gang, and other staff extended warm welcome and attended the two-day conversation.
Professor Weiss introduced the preponderant curriculum of NC State, including supply chain, accounting and innovation and entrepreneurship, and invited teachers from school of management to take advanced courses in NC State University. Two schools discussed the possibility of cooperation on students and teachers exchanges.
First, regarding to the current MGIM project, two schools confirmed that MBA students would take part , as well as college of architecture and engineering, on which condition, the participation of students from various cultural and discipline background would make MGIM more attractive. Then after the director of MBA Education Centre introduce the current MBA project, Professor Weiss put forward that school should promote MBA students exchanges. In the end, Professor Weiss generalized the project of Master of Big Data Analytics between NC State and Skema, and hoped MBA centre of School of management’s participation.
