The Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University Visited the School of Management

 

On the November 6th, Professor Soulaymane Kachani, the associate dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University, and Li Kaida, the consultant of the program of China Education Centre visited the School of Management. Professor Zhang Gang, the associate dean of the School of Management, accompanied by other professor extended warm welcome.
First, Zhu Jiping introduced the superior geographical position of Zhejiang Province, flourishing environment, and the important role Zhejiang University played. Professor Kachani indicated that the main purpose of this visit was to discuss the possibility of cooperative development of the EMBA program with the School of Management. After learning deeply about the achievements the School of Management has made on program EMBA and senior management training, he introduced the internationally cooperative programs the College of Engineering and Applied Science was taking, as well as partner colleges, and provided valuable advice to the current situation of program GXP of the School of Management.
This visit promoted the mutual understanding of each other, and more frequent cooperation. Two schools looked forward to international cooperation in the future.
