During October 15th to October 17th, AACSB international certification counseling specialists Professor George Edward Stevens, the honorary life president of American Business School of Kent State University, following the visit in June 2011, once again came to visit the school of management.Wu Xiaobo, the dean of the school of management warmly welcomed the specialist, in the company of other professors.
Chen Lin, the vice president, introduced the changes and progress the college had made this year, and the development strategy in the days to come. Then Professor George Edward Stevens and the college discussed the progress and space for improvement on AACSB certification. In the end, Professor George Edward Stevens made professional comment on the certification and helped the college develop new strategy afterwards.
By the three day of the talks and exchanges, the counseling specialist once again acknowledged the work and efforts the college had made. Meanwhile he also repeatedly stressed that the college need to make further effort in two aspects to narrow the distance between the standard and statusquo. First, professors in the school of management need to strengthen the scientific research on the published, especially the high-level overseas magazine. Second, AoL project still need to be further spread. Not only college leaders attached great importance to the entire visit, various functional departments made cooperation, but also many teachers actively participate in it, making a contribution to international certification.
