On June 2nd, 2011, Greg Hanifee, President Assistant of Business School, University of Maryland, and John Lapides, Senior Advisor, visited School of Management, ZJU. Wei Longbao, the Vice President, Sun Jianping, the President Assistant, Ren Yanjing, Vice Dean of MBA Education Center, Yu Fangzhen from Senior Management Training Center, and Zhu Jiping, Dong Xiaofen from International Communication and Cooperation Office, warmly welcomed them.
During the meeting, they first discussed Joint Training Project which had been on the process for three years. Students who take part in this project will spend three months on studying in three countries: China, USA, and India. Sun Jianping and Yu Fangzhen have a discussion with Greg Hanifee and John Lapides about the number of enrolled students and training expense, and finally reach an agreement. Yan Jin gave an introduction about MBA Project of School of Management to Greg Hanifee, both of them agreed that there would be more chances for cooperation, and wished for future communication.
