On December 30, 2010, Lucinda Morgan from UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana－Champaign) visited College of Education, ZJU. Xue Fei, the Vice director of the Foreign Affairs Department and Nuo Jian accompanied her.

Executive vice president Xu Xiaozhou extended a warm welcome to Ms Morgan, and also introduced the development history, educational philosophy, academic setting, personnel training, international exchanges and cooperation of College of Education. Then the two sides had an in-depth discussion on issues of mutual concern such as reciprocal visits and student exchange. According to the philosophy of the Foreign Affairs Conference during the summer vocation, College of Education and UIUC reached a tentative cooperation agreement on staff exchange, courses in English, and the “3+2”project.
