The International Conference on “A Comparative Study of Global Think Tank” jointly organized by the College of Public Administration in Zhejiang University and the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation will be held on August 25-26, 2010 in Haihua Hotel at the edge of West Lake in Hangzhou. Scholars and experts from home and abroad will speak at the meeting.

The Chinese experts include: Xue Lan (Dean of College of Public Administration of Tsinghua University), Professor Shen Hong (Executive Director of Unirule Institute of Economics), Pan Jiahua (Director of the Institute of Urban Development and Environment in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences). There were also experts from various areas abroad, including Kent Weaver (Brookings Institution), Andrew Rich (Director of Roosevelt Institute in New York), Ph.D Siphamandla Zondi (Institute of Global Dialogue), Professor Donald Abelson (American Studies Center). Conference languages are Chinese and English.

The General Assembly will serve lunch for the participants. As a result of time constraints, not all the experts will have the chance to speak, but all the papers are welcome in the proceeding project afterwards.
