On the morning of June 2, 2010, Professor Allan Malm, Dean of School of Economics and Management of Lund University, paid a visit to School of Management. Professor WU Xiaobo, Executive Vice Dean of the School of Management, and Professor CHEN Lin, Vice Dean of School of Management greeted Professor Malm. Professor RUI Xiaochuan from Lund University, who is visiting Center for Optical and Electromagnetic Research of Zhejiang University, also joined this visit.

First, the two parties expressed their best wishes to the newly established Joint Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship between Zhejiang University and Lund University. Professor WU made an introduction to the development and achievements made in innovation research and entrepreneurship by School of Management, the development of enterprises in Zhejiang Province and its close relationship with European economy and enterprises. Professor Malm also introduced the innovation studies and entrepreneurship they are working on.

Later, the two parties carried out a deep discussion on cooperation affairs, including the cooperation in innovation studies and entrepreneurship, how to enhance teachers’ involvement in the cooperative research, how to set up an online platform for communication, teachers’ exchanges of visits and such. At last, they reached a consensus on the time for the next visit and the joint forum to be held in Hangzhou.
